Unacceptable

Some of you may have already read about the incident that took place at Steak n' Shake with Karen Putz, a hearing impaired woman who writes "A Deaf Mom Shares her World" blog. The manager denied her service when she pulled to the window rather than ordering at the drive through speaker because she is deaf and can't hear at the speaker.

As the child of a hearing impaired parent, I find it unacceptable in this day and age that anyone would even think it was okay not to serve somebody because they couldn't order at the speaker due to a disability.
